A/C Balance
- 100% EN - 0 100% EP
EN - Electrode Negative
0 - 50/50
EP - Electrode Positive
This is very similar to the Frequency AC. However it is on a much faster scale. Frequency AC deals with changes over one second, whereas A/C balances only concerned with on cycle. It determines how often one cycle of the wave form is in 'Positive' territory versus 'Negative' territory.
A(total) = A(positive) + A(negative)
When welding aluminium, more either way will have a drastic impact on whether the weld area is cleaned, whether the weld has greater penetration, etc. More info to come when better intel is gained.
