Full forward travel of the pedal would denote the maximum value.\\ Step size: 1 Amp ---- * **Start Amps** * 10 - 200 Amps Start amps is the current that will flow at the initiation of the arc, whether in conjunction with the HV/HF starter or not. A high value will help here, but will also cause significantly more heat to be introduced to the material being welded. The lowest value possible is always best. This will vary with differing scenarios.\\ Step size: 1 Amp ---- * **Up Slope** * Amps/Second Up Slope determines how quickly the current will be raised from zero to Start Amps after the foot switch is closed. Setting this to '0' will disable this function.\\ Step size: 1 Amp ---- * **Down Slope** * Amps/Second Down Slope determines how quickly the current will be reduced from Start Amps to zero after the foot switch is opened. Setting this to '0' will disable this function.\\ Step size: 1 Amp ---- * **End Amps** * 10 - 200 Amps End Amps determines what current level should be maintained during the end of the weld. The welder can choose to snap out the electrode to end the weld once finished, or simply set this value to '0 to disable the function.\\ Step size: 1 Amp ---- * //Current is measured through a current sensor in series with the welding electrodes.
